When content is translated into a similar language (e.g. EN to Irish), search engines could penalize it, because they perceive it as duplicated content and they do not know which one is the original.
In order to avoid the penalization, there is a new metabox to select language version from which the content derives.
When the content is translated (e.g. EN → Irish, CS → SK or similar), the original language should be selected to let search engines know which one is original.

Usage
When you set original content, you site will be setted as canonical. That mean this page won't be indexed and your main page will be more likely searchable.
Location
The metabox is visible only on secondary languages. It is active for the following post types:
- Story
- News
- Press kit
- Press release
- Series
- Page
