Tour de France 2018
This page outlines options available to editors during the TDF 2018 campaign
All articles related to Tour de France content must be tagged using „Tour de France 2018“ tag, or it won't be possible to locate correct articles shown in the TDF sections
Below is an explanation how the pages behave by default. Please note, that you can adjust this behaviour by changing options of the page, for example you can always show a specific article or video on a certain position in the page
Homepage
Top TDF special - 6 latest articles/videos or 4 latest articles/videos and Contest banner
Area between orange sections: 4 latest articles
Bottom TDF special - 4 latest articles/videos tagged Tour de France 2018 or 3 + contest banner
continues with latest articles after the last TDF section
Customizing the homepage
As a standard homepage, you have an option to choose any article/attachment with a video to be shown in either the top positions (position 1 - 6) or in the bottom TDF special (position 1 - 4) and to hide/show contest banner leading to the TDF page
Here is a quick summary of what the options do:
Sidebar (Widgets)
For the TDF homepage there are new sidebars where you can put your widgets. First one is above the bottom TDF special, the second one is below it.
You can adjust the widgets in Appearance → Widgets
TDF Landing page (TDF Section)
Top TDF special - 3 positions, any combination of videos/tour de france articles can be chosen here. Second position is reserved for Contest banner if active

TV Section - 2-3 articles/videos can be chosen here
Customizing TDF Landing page
You can switch on/off any of the sections of the landing page on the right when editing the page.
You can also further customize the page using various options outlined in the following image. Locate the page in Admin bar → Pages → All pages, then find the page called „Tour de France“ or „Tour de France 2018“.
Sidebar (Widgets)
There is a new sidebar for the TDF Landing page where you can choose widgets shown next to the articles at the bottom of the page (just above TV Section)
