We Love Cycling - Legal

The site is operated by ŠKODA HQ (ŠKODA Auto a.s.) and therefor falls under legal requirements of Czech Republic and EU.

We Love Cycling website has many localizations and it is usually the ŠKODA department of other countries that are responsible for providing content in their language.

However; Even the localized version of the website are still operated by ŠKODA HQ and NOT by importers/departments in other countries. The data protection and privacy policies fall under ŠKODA HQ.

Therefor it is necessary that the website has the same rules and same data protection policies (and all the other privacy/personal data policies) on ALL LOCALIZATIONS of the website.

E.g. We cannot have a user browse to a German or Swedish version and agree to their privacy policies and then browse to Italian/Global version that has different policies.

One of those exceptions are contests or registrations operated by the ŠKODA deparetment in a different country. These are for example Swedish registrations to their cycling team, German registrations to Veloteam or other localized contests/registrations that are not operated by ŠKODA HQ.

In these exceptions, the localized version is allowed to have a different set of policies. But these policies apply to the specific contest/registration, NOT TO THE WEBSITE. These are usually found right next to buttons used to create registration or register to contests.

If you think there needs to be an ammendment to the policy, or if you think your country requires a change regarding legal issues on the website operated by ŠKODA HQ, you must contact a member from ŠKODA HQ, who is responsible for providing the legal connections between ŠKODA HQ and your legal department.

WE CANNOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE LEGAL POLICIES UNLESS INSTRUCTED BY ŠKODA HQ.
