Media Licence Expiration
The „Media License Expiration“ extension is used to control licensed media. It also helps to inform about the expiration of such media ten days in advance by e-mail.
Add expiration
After uploading media, a user with an enabled role (higher than Author) can add an expiration date if the medium has one.
Manage expiration date
Manage a single file
You can manage expiration date for a single file just like in „Add expiration“ section.
Manage multiple files
If you want to edit multiple files at once, the best solution is tu use „Bulk actions“ in media library. Be aware that using bulk actions is possible only if the Media Library is in a list mode. It will not apear in standard grid mode. Available bulk actions
- Add/Change expiration date
- Remove expiration date
Filtering licenced media files
If your media already has an expiration date you can easily find them in the Media Library using special „Licence filter“ for that. Licence filter has three possible options:
- Show all licensed media - It will show all licenced media fils expired or not
- Show already expired - It will show only expired media files
- Show not expired - It will show only no expired media files
