This page documents technical information about the TDF 2017 landing page
The menu contains a logo and 3 links (link to contest, personality test and related articles) - when one of these modules is switched off the menu will not print the link
TDF menu can be switched off by passing a GET argument disable_tdf_menu=true
The block below the TDF menu Contains a video, contest teaser and a single article. If video is not provided, it can be replaced by an article of your choosing. If contest is not active, it can also be replaced by an article.
If no articles are chosen manually then articles based on the page tag will be shown (i.e. landing page has a tag „tour-de-france“ - 3 newest articles from the „tour-de-france“ tag will be listed)
Stage area can be switched off through administration - edit page → Sidebar: Page modules → Disable the stage area (refer to disabling page modules)
Contest is split into 3 rounds. Before the first round begins a countdown is shown. When the third round ends a message is displayed about the end of the contest.
Contest can be switched off through administration - edit page → Sidebar: Page modules → Disable contest (refer to disabling page modules)
Test can be switched off through administration - edit page → Sidebar: Page modules → Disable personality test (refer to disabling page modules)
Alternatively the test can be switched off by passing a GET argument disable_personality_test=true or by removing the tags from the page
You can include the personality test using an iframe action "personality_test"
The articles which show up are based on the tags of the landing page itself. E.g.: Landing page has two tags: 'tour-de-france' and 'tdf' … all articles with these tags will be selected and the latest 5 will be listed. If any of these articles are listed in the Stage area then these will be excluded from the list.
This area can be disabled by passing a GET argument disable_articles=true or by removing the tags from the page
Footer shows an image with a CTA button
This area can be disabled by passing a GET argument disable_tdf_footer=true
Footer can be customized through the administration. The image will be stretched so it fills up the area so an aspect ratio of at least 4:1 should be used.
Some modules can be disabled through the administration. Here is a screenshot, refer to the right sidebar - page modules
Additionally the main WLC header and footer can be disabled
