Categories management

Categories are tree structures of terms. Each post can be in more than one term. So the post can be found for example under Sport, Hockey or under Innovation.

To manage categories, go to left side menu and open Posts and select Categories. Following page will open:

Each category has:

• Name
• Slug
• Description
• Parent (None value means top level category, or you can choose some to make it as child)
• Language
• Featured Image (when selected, category title is hidden)

Note: If you add a new categories it is good to add them in to main menu.

You can associate an image from your media library to a category. This image will be shown in a category page header.
