====== Carousel ======
The carousel is placed only on the homepage. It rotates selected/latest articles.

To define articles go to Administration of WordPress and go to Carousel section - See left navigation: Carousel.


===== Home Page Carousel setup =====

There are 2 carousels - one for the Storyboard homepage and one for the Media Room Homepage. The setup page also contains 2 options tabs (**Homepage**/**Media Room Homepage**).

//The Carousel must be set up for each language separately! So it provides flexibility to have a different sticky post in the carousel in each language version of StoryBoard.

There are 3 positions in each carousel which are automatically filled by the latest Stories in the case of Storyboard and by News in the case of Media Room. You can set up what content type is used for automatic filling. See **Automatic post type** list of checkboxes.

If you select 1 article from the Left list to the Right list, you will overwrite one position in the carousel. If you select 2 articles, you will fill 2 positions in the carousel. The third position is still filled by the latest article. So, you can stick up to 3 articles in the carousel despite there being 3 more newest articles than your stuck ones.

===== Exclude Category from Carousel =====

If necessary, one or more categories can be removed from the carousel. Such exclusion is done in the category settings. However, if you manually select an article in the carousel selection, the setting will ignore its prohibited category. It is therefore possible to manually attach any article regardless of whether or not it is included in a prohibited category.
